There are many qualities in this axminster carpets, amongst them the famous are :

2. 7x9
3. 7x10

Now what the above means and how they are different to one another? These are mainly the construction of the weave, which shows that higher the number denser is the carpet. Also it depends upon the area where these have to be used...like 7x7 for rooms are ok, but when you have to choose area for high traffic you can to go with 7x9, in this case 7x7 will not work at all.
